The goal was to create an inorganic chemical center of the Great Plains. The investment began with the construction of a sulfuric acid plant. BIOLAR SIA
The BIOLAR chemical plant is the largest enterprise in the city of Olaine. The territory of the plant is almost 200 thousand square meters, the total area of construction is more than 70 thousand square meters. The plant was created on the basis of the state scientific and production association "Biolar", which for more than 30 years conducted fundamental scientific research, produced tens of thousands of names of various chemical reagents and highly pure substances.
